POC Sponsors New AAOS Headquarters



Dr. Steve McCollam and Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic (POC) CEO Mike Butler recently attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ (AAOS) new 180,000-square-foot headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois.

The newly completed, five-story building also houses more than 25 orthopaedic organizations and a state-of-the-art orthopaedic learning center. There, educational programs are provided for surgeons and healthcare professionals from around the world. The new building includes a 24-station skills lab and auditorium with state-of-the-art technology.

As a long-standing national leader in orthopaedic care, POC is proud to be a major supporter of this new facility, which represents a unified commitment to the future of orthopaedics and orthopaedic education.

Congrats to the GSU Panthers




Congratulations to the Georgia State University men’s basketball team for their heroic run in the NCAA tournament. Underdog GSU’s season ended with a memorable performance in a 75-67 loss to Xavier.

A wild opening day of the NCAA tournament was highlighted by No. 14 seed Georgia State’s remarkable comeback win over No. 3 seed Baylor. GSU’s R.J. Hunter drilled a deep 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds remaining to put the bow on the team’s 13-0 run in the final minutes to shock the Bears, 57-56.

The physicians ands staff at Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic are proud to serve as team physicians to the GSU athletic program.
